Paid media on Discord

We buy placements across our partner server network to recruit your members, and we sell space inside your own servers to advertisers.

The problem

On Discord you don't buy attention, you offer a mission

Younger generations grew up with digital advertising and are less and less responsive to it. A banner in the middle of a conversation gets ignored, while an activation that gives people something to do (a contest, a challenge, something to create) actually mobilises them. That is the format we argue for, because it is the only one that produces both attention and goodwill.

What we handle

What we take off your plate

01

Recruitment across partner servers

Buying placements across our network of partner communities to bring members onto your server who are already qualified by interest.

02

Discord ad campaigns

Building and running your campaigns on the platform's ad inventory, with community-level targeting and cost-per-active-member tracking.

03

Monetising your servers

Selling space inside your community to advertisers, from partner sourcing to contracting, turning your server into a revenue stream.

04

Native sponsor activations

Native formats rather than ad slots: emojis and badges in the partner's colours, creative contests, activations that give members a reason to take part.

05

Measurement and reporting

Cost per member acquired, participation rates on partner activations and revenue generated, benchmarked against your other acquisition channels.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What budget to recruit members?

Cost per member varies widely by niche and by the quality you are after. We usually start with a six-week test that establishes your real cost before committing a larger budget.

What revenue can a monetised server generate?

It depends on community size, engagement and how attractive the topic is to advertisers. A server with a few thousand highly active members can be worth more than a community ten times larger but passive.

Do members accept advertisers?

When the activation offers them something rather than taking their time, yes. Emojis in a sponsor's colours or a contest with prizes land well; a broadcast ad does not.

Can recruitment and monetisation be combined?

That is the logic of the offer: recruitment builds the audience, monetisation extracts revenue from it, and both run with the same team and the same reporting.
